New York is a city that has a magnetism, a class
and a personality of it’s own. Apart from being the financial
nerve centre of the nation, it has various facts and reasons
that prove why it is a city that should not be missed!! New
York has the most iconic skyline, it is the home of the Broadway
musicals, you can take a tour of the city by taking a ride on
what else….THE RIDE!! It’s metro unlike others runs 24/7, it
is a melting pot of many cultures and languages that is evident
from areas like Chinatown, Little Italy, Harlem, Jackson Heights,
etc. Hunger pangs can get satiated even at 2 am, you can get
to see world class music and performances in the summer without
spending a buck, bars are open till 4 am and in this huge concrete
jungle, you have huge expanses of greenery like the Central
Park and the Battery Park!! All in all, it is a city that caters
to all the different walks of life!! |

Day 01 |
NEW YORK
Pick up from the Airport & transfer
to the Holiday Inn Secaucus Hotel. Depending on the availability
of rooms, keep your luggage in the luggage area, freshen
up and proceed for lunch at the many restaurants there.
You may relax in your room after a long flight. In the evening,
you may stroll around at the Harmon Cove Outlet Centre that
offers a wide array of shopping, dining and entertainment
venues. You have an option of having an Indian dinner at
the Mausam restaurant, or at Stefano’s for Mediterranean
cuisine. Meals: Breakfast Overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 02 |
NEW YORK
After an early breakfast in the hotel, it is time to explore
the city of New York with your 2 Day New York Pass that
gives you entry to more than 50 attractions. Board a New
Jersey Transit bus – Bus number 320 (www.njtransit.com)
that departs at 0826HRS or the next one at 0838HRS. Arrive
at 0900HRS at the PABT (Port Authority Bus Terminal), follow
the signage for 8th Avenue and 42nd Street and walk down
to the famous Madame Tussaud’s, where you can you can get
up close and personal with the wax figures of famous stars
viz. Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Marilyn Monroe and our own
Bollywood stars viz. Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and
Shah Rukh Khan!! From there walk towards Rockefeller Centre
to the Top of the Rock which will offer you an unobstructed
view of Central Park. Hop across the road and visit the
NBC Studios which takes you through the halls and the studios
of how it all operates. Walk to the Radio City Music Hall
located just next to it, and take a tour of the lounges
and corridors of the most famous theatre in New York. Walk
down to Central Park and Columbus Circle and pass by the
Plaza Fairmont Hotel (formerly known as the Plaza Hotel),
made famous in the movie Home Alone 2. Break for lunch at
the many restaurants located in and around the area. Located
just opposite, is the largest Apple store where you can
purchase all their products eg. i Pod, i Phone and the i
Mac. You may also want to visit Fao Schwartz – a huge toy
store where you can purchase from a wide variety of toys,
games and books. Stroll around and visit the different stores
for a spot of window shopping. You can then have dinner
at the many restaurants there – a suggested one is Rosa
Mexicana, a Mexican restaurant. Walk down or take a cab
to 09th Avenue to the PABT, from where you can then board
your bus back to the Secaucus area, where your hotel is
located.

Day 03 |
NEW YORK
After an early breakfast in the hotel, board your pre-booked
hotel shuttle to Secaucus train station. Board a train
which takes 10 minutes to New York Penn Station, walk down
towards 5th Avenue and arrive at the famous Empire State
Building, where you can get to the Observatory located on
the 86th floor to get a panoramic view of the entire city.
Brace yourselves and enjoy the New York Sky Ride which is
a simulated educational, aerial ride over the city. Walk
down to the Macy’s store located at 09th Avenue, which houses
a host of different chain brands at lower prices and shop
with your discount voucher. You can also visit the B&H stores
where you can shop for electronics, cameras and computers
at wholesale prices with your discount voucher. Break for
lunch at one of the restaurants there and then walk down
to Pier 59 to board the Circle Line Cruises, a boat cruise
from which you can witness the historic New York skyline.
Disembark at Battery Park and stroll around the area. Walk
down to Ground Zero, the scene where the world famous Twin
Towers stood till the unfortunate 9/11 incident that brought
both the towers crashing down. Visit the memorial and the
visitor’s centre and then walk to the Financial Centre and
Wall Street. Take a taxi to the SoHO (South of Houston)
area famous for it’s art galleries and a wide range of stores
and shops from international chains to trendy boutiques
to roadside vendors. Indulge in around of shopping, followed
by dinner at the Vapiano Italian restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel |

Day 04 |
NEW YORK
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the hotel and relax in your
room till it is time to check out. Transfer to the airport
and have your lunch at the airport. Board your departure
flight with sweet memories of your holiday in New York!!
